Skyline Drive

So, yesterday we decided to go to the Shenandoah National Park and go through the skyline drive and look at the pretty fall colors. Unfortunately, when we got there (after driving about an hour) they had the park closed off because of SNOW! on the road and trees had fallen!! it wasn't even that cold! 50s! so we instead went to the shenandoah caverns. It was pretty neat, it was no carlsbad, but not bad anyways. so we still made our trip worth while!

Beach

Aaron and I had a great time at the beach, the weather was perfect and it wasn't crowded at all. We went just in time because today it's cold and cloudy with just a drizzle of rain. so, it's been a good day to lay around and do nothing. Of course that is, until we have to go to work today. We work all weekend, at least it's our last weekend of nights, then from here on we'll work days! :) chepe, we'll be seeing you soon, time is flying ha,

Tomorrow off to the beach!

Tomorrow, we're going to Virginia beach!! I'm very excited! it's going to be 80 degrees! (i know chepe, I don't want to know what the weather is like in phoenix) I can't download picasa, so I'll be downloading pictures to my old blog. ( arauz1.bebo.com ) so check them out in 2 days.
So, officially we have 4 weeks left here!! and it's still not cold!! anyways, I hate to admit it, but I'm gonna miss this place. and yes we will even miss work. I'm finally used to it and now it's time to go. :_( oh well, I guess tha's just the way it goes. But I'm really excited about going back home. I'm a little afraid to go back to my old job and be in bit of shock, we'll see what happens.

work and scrapbooking

This week has been full of work. We're doing a little extra shifts for the holidays. We're getting ready to start working, all weekend. the good news is that during the week; we plan on going to Virginia beach. :)
Xiomi, you would be proud of my scrapbook, it's looking great. I'm going to have to print more pictures though. I didn't realize didn't get some good pics.
So, we have only a little over a month now here in Virginia. We are excited that my brother Jose is going to coming over for a couple of days.
It should start getting cold anytime, it's been cloudy and somewhat rainy for a couple of days now, but it still is in the high 60s and 70s. Also the trees haven't started changing colors yet. When they do start changing Aaron and I plan on going back to the Shannendoah National Park/ the Skyline Drive.
We love Virginia, we're gonna miss the area and the hospital that we work at.

Hello everyone, I have finally given in and yes now I'm a blogger too. :-) I'm not sure how or where this will be posted so I won't write too much. Aaron and I are doing good. This week we're putting in an extra 12 hours at work, so not much time to play this week, but next week! no overtime and perhaps Virginia Beach is calling us!! until next time
