River of Lights

My dad and I went to the river of lights in the botanical gardens. We had a good time, it was a litle cold, but we managed. :-) we took a lot of pictures, playing around with our cameras. Changing subject, Aaron had to work today until 1:00 AM so his new year will be spent at work. We'll HAPPY NEW YEARS!! to everyone. Hope you stick to your goals/resolutions as long as possible. Christmas 2005

This is before the crowd comes, we are ready for Christmas! we're listening to Christmas music, waiting on people to come over. I put the camera on the little tripod and hey, it turned out pretty nice. The only one missing in the picture is mushu, and he wants to kill lulu. so, not a good mix. Merry Christmas everyone! :)

Christmas tree

My sister wanted to see my Christmas tree, so here it is. Nothing too nice, but pretty. I finally got a new tree (after over 5 years). So, I was very excited. :-)

My sister (Xiomi) aka cleo made this for me!! how nice ha, she did get a little get from a professional, but it's pretty nice:-) I just noticed on the picture that it is totally off center, oh well, I'll fix it tomorrow. :-) we're off until monday now!! yeaah! Jose and Kim come on Saturday. I hope Kim is ready for the warm weather, :) it is in the mid 40s and 50 here, :-) so, tomorrow and friday will be cleaning days, and I just need one more gift. So, I'm going to dare to go the store on Thursday. yikes!! But I have a plan already, so we'll see.

Scrapbooking

One could get so tired from scrapbooking, just look at her so abused! I'm about half ways done with my 3rd scrapbook. Current theme is Virginia/D.C. It's turning out pretty nice, (I think anyways,) :-)

time is ticking

So, Christmas is almost here!! this year has gone by so fast. I know we must say that every year, but it's true. I even feel old saying that! yikes! but no, not really; Aaron and I play too much and work a little. I still have Christmas shopping to do, I'm hoping that by the end of this weekend I will be done. that's the goal anyways. we'll see. We work the next 3 days, then we're off until next wed. that should be enoght time to finish up with the shopping. :~)
Changing subjects, as I had mentioned before, we joined the gym. and yes, we've been working out! it's nice! this is only our 2nd week into it, but we run/walk for 2 and 1/4 miles on the tredmill, then we do weights. So, that's it! there's still no snow in wolfcreek, I think we're being punished for something, I'm not sure what, but something, :? usually they have over 100 inches by now, but anyways, oh well. :0) eventually we'll go. :-) :)

Work

So, I've been back to work for 2 days now, people seem to think that I was out on a long vacation. I hear things like, "hey, I haven't seen you for a while, and/or where've you been? My orientation was, we moved the paper work to here-now, get to work. :( and that was it. But it's the same ol' thing. Aaron's first day (night) was yesterday, and he survived! :-) he's doing good, sleeping now. he's working again tonight.

Work starts again!

So this week we start work! today we go and get our badges, then tomorrow-a 4 hr computer class, then actual work on Wed (for me) Aaron starts Thurs. It's about time we start working, I'm not even sure I know how to work anymore. By the way Chepe, we're not like some people with their weekends full, excuse me! :0) hey how about scheduling us in a weekend, how does January look? haha, anyways oh yeah, Sarita got married, we went to the little wedding, kayleen and reggie also went. We got to hang out with Kayla and Reggie, it was fun, poor Kayla she still feels "gaggy" -her words. but they're doing really good.
we'll the snow didn't dump last week in Co. so we had planned for a day and night at Wolfcreek, Co. for snowboarding, but they only had 40% of the mountain open! they normally have perfect powder conditions, all the time! anyways, we didn't go anywhere afterall (out of town that is). We did go to the climbing gym, and I was so so so sore for the next couple of days, I had forgotten I had muscles! and finally, we joined defined fitness this week, so that's right we're gonna work out! and they have classes, so I'm excited,.. ok that's all for now, I will update again once I've gone back to work! yikes!
