Baby shower #2

Yesterday we were blessed one more time to have family and friends come over and literally shower us with gifts. A special thanks to Adam and Adri who put it all together and made great food and fun games. You guys are great!! A lot of people came, most of everyone we invited. It was good to see people we hadn't seen in a while and try n catch up a little. Thank God that everything we got was something we needed! it's just amazing. We don't deserve all these blessings, but God is gracious enough to still give us all these things. I'll be 39 weeks on Wed. hopefully Sofia will be here soon. Also, thank God I'm not feeling miserable or too anxious yet. Trust me we're all ready to meet this little girl, but at the same time I don't feel desperate. Thank God. This week, we're switching focus from swimming to walking more. We'll see. I go back to the Dr.'s on Wed, then we'll see where we're at. I'll keep you guys posted. Keep us in your prayers. :-)

Our woonderful friends from work had a shower for us today. It was a lot of fun!! Thank you everyone! God has truly blessed us not only with material things, but also with great people that have such a big heart! I will soon post a picture of the nursery, probably by the end of the week; it's very cute! Hopefully Sofia will be here soon. We'll see.

37 weeks vs. 8 weeks

We've made quite the progress now that we're at 9 months. I've had such a great pregnancy thank God. Now we just pray for a healthy baby girl to be born. That day could happen any day now, even though I have 3 more weeks. We went to the doctor's yesterday and he said I was 2cm already and 30% effaced, so the progress has started. We go back to dr. every week now, it's exciting, I can't wait to be able to hold our little girl. Keep us in prayer.

weddings

This month has been a busy month. Here's a picture of Mirsa, Amy and I. Mirsa got married on Sept. 23, then my brother got married the following weekend in Canada. So, it was quite the long trip; and yes we flew in most of the way; we had good time and the wedding was beautiful. There's also lots of pregnant people and babies, I guess it's the year for babies! Jose now you guys can join the club before the year is over :-) ;>)
we have less than 5 weeks left before Sofia is here, now our due date is back to the original date Nov. 8th not 18th, so we'll see. God willing sooner than later; nevertheless, all in His timing. I thank God that we've been blessed with such a wonderful, healthy pregnancy, it's been a great, fun journey. We're excited to see what God has in stored for us next with Sofia. Keep us in your prayers.
