Greatgrandfather and Sofia

We spent Thanksgiving at my mom's house, we had a good time and had good food. Abuelo was able to spend time with us, and that was nice, he was in a funny mood, telling everyone at the table they were fat, or they had gained weight; including Aaron. (it's next to impossible for him to gain weight). anyways, Jose and Kim were also here, it was good to see them again. As you can see Sofia was all dressed up for thanksgiving. :-)

Here is Sofia looking cute just like she always does. She has been such a blessing and the Lord has blessed us with wonderful friends and family that have given us food and gifts. We thank you all!!

Got Milk!

Just in case you guys were wondering, yes the milk came in. Thank God, now for sure we won't need to supplement with formula. Sofia is doing excellent!! she's such a good baby and i'm not just saying that. Aaron is been great, he's really been helping around the house, keeping busy. Also my wonderful mother comes around and we gives us wonderful treats (empanaditas, avena, horchata, vieran que rico!) and she's been also helping around the house; which has been very nice.

We've been home now since wednesday afternoon. Thank God we've all been doing good. I'm very thankful that my mom has been coming over and bringing good food. sopitas, atoles, tortillitas, vieran que rico. ya quisieran verdad.
also, we went to her first doctor's appt. we have to go back tomorrow to get a weight check on her since she lost the 10% of her birth weight and they want to make sure she doesn't drop anymore. Hopefully my milk will be in soon, so far she's feeding well; just no milk yet. so, we'll keep you updated.

Sofia is finally here

Sofia Macayla James was born on November 14th at 8:24am. She weighed 7 lbs 13 oz; 20 1/2 in. long. Thank God she's perfectly healthy. We're all doing well. thank you for your prayers and support.

Overdue

So here's our last pic of the belly. We're officially 5 days overdue. Sofia now has a scheduled birthday tomorrow. The doctor is going to break my bag of waters in the morning and hopefully that will get things going from there. If not pitocin will follow; just the threat of pit should get me into labor. So, please everyone keep us in your prayers; our only real plan is to have Sofia be born healthy.
In other news, my super sweet husband gave me a beautiful pearl ring today!! We also went to the theater and watched open season, (highly recommend it) a very funny movie. So, all and all it's been a good day.

No baby yet

So, Sofia is still too comfy to come out and see us. We're waiting for Sofia to be ready; we're doing good though, keeping high, optimistic spirit. God has been good, I'm not feeling so uncomfortable, we're just anxious to meet our little one. Keep us in your prayers. Hopefully this weekend will be it. ? We'll see. We'll keep everyone posted.
