Discovering something new!

Now Sofia has figured out that she has a voice that can be louder than before. She's now talking even more! She makes cute faces and more noises, we just put her on the little "play station", don't know what else to call it, and she likes it, she stands in it and can touch the buttons and it lights up and plays music. Another thing is that she really notices our dog lulu, and she loves her! she's all smiles and talks to the dog. that's how I got some good pics, because of lulu

Best Friends!

Here's Kyra and Sofia again. Kyra is now 6 months! she rolls around all over the place; and finally her mama gave her some rice cereal to try. Yeih for Kyra! They're both really starting to notice each other and they "talk", it's funny to see them interact. Of course right now they just kindof smach each other, Kyra wants to "feel" Sofia's hair, and Sofia, well she's just not that coordinated yet, so she just grabs where she can. :-) We have fun hanging out together (the moms). and it's great because they nap at the same time. :-) how perfect is that? :-)

Fun slippers

Sofia has found her feet so she has a lot of fun with them. These little slippers make it even funner! they're little rattles. :-) very cute ha.

Cutie pie!!!

ok, here's the pictures i was talking about that she wasn't in the best of moods. :-) So, today we went to the doctor's for her 4 month checkup/vaccinations. She did really good, she only cried for a little bit. She weighed 13.5 lbs, and she's 26in. long! This weekend she started to grab her toes, and bring them to her mouth, I'll have to take a pic soon. Now early in the morning she wakes up and plays with her feet for a good 20 minutes or more. She's a funny girl!

Sofia is 4 months now!

Sofia is 4 months already, I can't believe it. We go for our 4 month shots on monday :-( it won't be pretty. On other news, lets see....well we got a little play mat, and one of those play things that is like a portable crib, anyways; she enjoys playing in there and reaching for her toys, links and so forth. Today we took some pics, but she wasn't exactly in the best of moods, she was a little tired, so I got some good ones, but we can do better. :-) I'll keep you posted. The weather here has been beautiful, it's been in the 70s, we've been going to the park for walks; there's a trail that loops the entire park, a busy place right now with soccer and baseball season starting.

Growing

Sofia is growing so fast!! we have now play time on her "play mat", she's getting better about being on her tummy. She still doesn't like it all that well though. She's started to really grasp at things in front of her. The next big thing will be for her to roll over. (I don't like that word "roll over", it sounds like you're talking about a dog,) but you guys know what I mean. She turns 4 months next wednesday. In other news I've gone back to work, for only a couple of hours of course, top of 12 hours a month. It was kindof nice being back a work, in a sick and twisted kindof way. :-) It was good to see people again, and show off pics of Sofia.

Meeting more family!

Sofia finally got to meet her uncle Joe. He came the weekend that Xiomi and Steve left. We were glad to have him with us.
